How to become a member of KYTA ?

If you are a KYTA member (please see right column), you will get access to the Member's Area, where you find information about the CEU accredited courses system and the reports of the KYTA Annual General Meetings.

In order to get your password after you have become a member, you go to the Member's Area, and click on "Members register here".

All Level 1 certified teachers and registered trainee teachers of Kundalini Yoga are welcome to register with KYTA. To do this you need to complete two forms, available as downloads on this page.

Why register with KYTA? Have a look at the benefits of joining: KYTA Membership Benefits Leaflet 2008.pdf.

Step 1: Download and complete the KYTA Membership Application Form: KYTA Membership Application and Renewal form 2008.pdf. This form has a section for calculating the amount you should send for (a) membership and (b) insurance and fees. Both are calculated so that you will only pay for the remaining number of months until the end of September whenever you apply.

If you intend to teach, you MUST have insurance. KYTA has arranged a group policy with DSC Yoga-Link Insurance for the benefit of members. For more details of what the insurance cover provides, look at DSC Yoga-Link Summary of Benefits Services.pdf

Step 2: Download and complete the DSC Yoga-Link Application Form: DCS Yoga-Link Application.pdf and complete it. NOTE: This application should be made in your legal name (not in your spiritual name) as it is a legal requirement.

Step 3: When both forms are completed and you have written your cheque for membership and insurance, payable to "DSC Insurance Services," send it all to:

DSC Insurance Services, Swithins, Lodge Farm, Tilbury Road, FARNHAM, Surrey GU9 8HU.

Already a KYTA Member?

Each year you will need to renew both your Membership and your Insurance. In September you should receive an invitation from KYTA to renew but if for some reason you miss this and do not renew, then your insurance will lapse. The "year" runs from 1st October to 31st September.

You can still renew Membership and Insurance within a reasonable time period by completing a fresh KYTA Membership Application Form (download from above) and an Insurance Reinstatement Declaration DSC Yoga-Link Reinstatement Declaration.pdf.

Need it VERY URGENTLY?

If you need to obtain Insurance very urgently – for example, you may be asked to cover a class for someone at short notice – then DSC Insurance are very helpful and can arrange immediate/temporary cover by telephone, on 01252 735806. Please ONLY use this in an emergency for Insurance cover. For all general enquiries regarding KYTA membership/insurance click here.
