I started Kundalini Yoga 10 years ago. I felt deeply touched by it immediately without having had any prior experience with Yoga. I completed her Teacher Training level I and II in Germany with Atma Singh. Additionally, I also completed the Karam Krya training which is a combination of “Numerology” and yogic councelling with Shiv Charan Singh. I am passionate about sharing the teachings of Kundalini Yoga with you!
I discovered Kundalini Yoga quite by accident over 10 years ago and it blew my mind! I had such an overwhelming feeling of clarity, bliss and knowing after just one session that I knew without hesitation that I must teach and share this amazing tool for the soul and I haven't looked back. I am a very down to earth teacher with a very sunny disposition. I am full of joy and bring humour and grace into my classes and into my life. I have been teaching for 10 years now and I am still astounded at the transformations I witness in myself and my students... Its been a journey back to innocence ♡
Sat Nam. Hi, my name is Jacqui and like many, Kundalini Yoga found me at a time I needed it and was open to recieve it. It had such a progoundly positive impact on my health and on my life that I felt drawn to teach and share this divine science with others. I have seen many wonderful transformations over the years in many of my students, a number of whom have become teachers as well. I now teach small classes of up to 6 in a private studio in Buckhurst Hill, Essex which is on the Epping Forest / East London borders, over looking a beautiful garden with free off street parking. The space is a sancuary of tranquility and peace where you can come to unwind, relax and recharge, practice kindalini yoga kriyas and meditations followed bu a gong bath relaxation at the end of each class. My aim, teaching philosphy and outcome I hope for all students who attend my classes? Simply this- 'Our pirpose in life is to be happy.' Yoga is simple and pure and the best way to cleanse, energise, tone and strengthen the body, calm, clear and master the mind, find balance, peace, calm and serenity and in turn awaken and discover yourself and free your spirit! Through yoga we can live in heaven on earth. My name is Dr. Japjeet Rajbir Kaur Khalsa (before becoming a Sikh I was known as Dr. Nele Bemong) and I have been practicing yoga for about 11 years now. After having practiced Hatha Yoga for a few years, I came into contact with Kundalini Yoga and immediately experienced the transformational power of this 'Yoga of Awareness'. I started teaching Kundalini Yoga in 2008 in Belgium, where I taught up to 5 KY classes per week and experienced what a difference this yoga practice can make to people's lives. In the winter of 2011 I left my academic career in Belgium behind to fully focus on my work as a Kundalini Yoga (KY) teacher and to develop new programs in the UK. Since January 2011 I have been teaching KY in the UK. I now teach regular KY classes in Leicester and run half-day and full-day workshops on specific themes, weekend workshops, and week retreats, both in the UK and in mainland Europe. I also regularly work together with other teachers and holistic therapists, teaching at health retreats or spiritual awakening retreats, and I teach yoga at Sikh camps around the UK. Over the past years I have specialised in, amongst others, KY for stress management, burnout, depression and anxiety; addiction recovery; pre- and postnatal yoga; and men’s, women's and relationships teachings. I am also a nutrition & health advisor, a yogic massage therapist, and a life and yoga coach. Partly thanks to over a decade of working in academia writing a PhD, doing 7 years of postdoctoral research, combined with teaching and holding a Chair at Penn University in Philadelphia (US), I have build up a strong reputation for my rich yogic knowledge and my ability to bring deeply complex teachings in a way that is very easy to understand and grasp for all, whether students have any prior knowledge or not. I am deeply spiritual yet at the same time very down-to- earth and ‘real’, and know how to make the yogic teachings practical, tangible and easy to integrate in a modern Western life. I am very open and direct in my teachings and will cut to the essence, but will always do so with a lot of love for and always in service of the students. Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) and International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA) certified Kundalini Yoga teacher (Aquarian Teacher Level 2 ) Intern Teacher Trainer of the KRI Aquarian Trainer Academy, through Karam Kriya School under lead trainer Shiv Charan Singh Certified baby, toddler, children and teenagers Yoga teacher - Radiant Child Yoga Program RCYP Level 1 & 2 Certified Facilitator for the Kundalini Yoga Women's Program 'Excel & Celebrate - The Radiance of Woman' Certified teacher Mastering the Addictive Personality Specialised pregnancy (prenatal) and postnatal yoga teacher and postnatal doula PhD in Literary Studies
I am an example of the deep personal change that Kundalini yoga can generate and that is why I love to hold the space where that can happen for others. I overcame a lifelong addiction in and around the same time that I stumbled upon a Kundalini class and I qualified as a teacher a year on. That was 9 years ago and the journey continues. I have taught in rehabs and studios in London but have recently moved close to a beautiful Essex estuary where there are no KYTA members. It is very important to me that the word Kundalini is synonymous with Yogi Bhajan and I look forward to introducing him to my new neighbourhood.
