LEVEL ONE TRAINING
There are currently four Teacher Trainings schools offering Level 1 Teacher Training in the UK. All are certified by the Kundalini Research Institute, which is the international certifying body for Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan®.
The KRI Level One Aquarian Teacher Training Program is a 220-hour professional certification program in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan ®. An interactive course in the theory, practice, and basic skills of a Kundalini Yoga instructor, it includes a minimum of 180 hours of classroom instruction and 40 hours of independent study: service projects, a 40-day meditation, and White Tantric Yoga. Graduates of Level One earn the title of KRI Certified Instructor of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan® and fulfill the Yoga Alliance RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) 200-hour requirement.
Level 1 introduces the student to the principles and practices of the self-sensory human, and explores how Kundalini Yoga and yogic lifestyle can harmonize and uplift the human experience and awaken your true potential.

The Level 1 course comprises a minimum of 20 full days and is offered in a variety of formats mixing 1-5 day modules but is most often presented as a 10 residential weekends at Ufton Court, Reading UK. Contact Sharonfor more information.

Lead Trainers Gurmukh + Gurushabd Khalsa
This programme is based on the comprehensive science of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. This is a 220 hour course, which includes 180 hours of classroom instruction in a well-defined curriculum.
KRI Level 1 Teachers Training course fulfills the Yoga Alliance’s 200 hour national standard for a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). With your KRI certification, you can apply for and receive a Yoga Alliance accreditation.
