• 1 cup sunflower seeds, soaked 4-6 hours

  • 2 dates, soaked 20 mins

  • 1 clove garlic, chopped

  • 1/3 cup olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 2 teaspoons tamari

  • Water


Rinse the seeds well and drain in a sieve
Put all the ingredients – except – water into the blender and whizz until smooth and creamy.
Add water gradually until you have the desired consistency.

N.B: The pate will set in the fridge – you can always add more water later to make it runnier.
