What does it mean to be an Aquarian Man?
Yogi Bhajan taught that an Aquarian man is “A man who is strong, kind, open-hearted, conscious of his word, and committed to his higher self.” He embodies “I know who I am, I define myself in my relationship to the universe and God.”
I’ve come to know many great role models of masculinity in the yogic community, my teacher Kirpal Singh of Ik Saran Dhian, shared with me that the masculine is associated with the fire and earth elements. The male energy is stable, it provides the container. He is a protector, however out of balance this can become controlling. When the Aquarian man’s qualities are balanced, he carries the seed, and he does it with dignity and values, not only the biological but also the spiritual seed.
